As reported by the newspaper O Jogo the Tirsense is going through a difficult time with their youth that do not have training camps where appropriate. In Santo Tirso there is no room so the children of the youth are forced to move to neighboring countries. Among the proposed solutions is the possibility to put the artificial turf all'Abel Alves de Figueiredo (field used exclusively by the first team), otherwise there is a strong risk of having to renounce the youth sector. Choice that would be hard for a club that relies heavily on the boys emerged from the youth (they are promoted every year a couple), but the lack of suitable areas does not allow its young to grow up properly without forgetting that other companies often take advantage of this to "snatch" the Tirsense the best prospects.
